He is the founder and president of Word Power Ministries and Village Hope International, two global movements born from supernatural encounters and a deep desire to serve God and humanity.
From Healing to Harvest: The Apostolic Journey of Pastor Bob Tiwa
Originally from Uganda and now based in Los Angeles, California, Pastor Bob lives with his wife and three children, continuing his mission to share the Gospel across nations. His journey into ministry began in 1999 after a miraculous healing from a debilitating illness that had left his legs paralyzed. Through divine intervention, Jesus Christ restored his body and transformed his heart, leading Bob to accept Him as Lord and Savior and dedicate his life to service.
Pastor Bob holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management from Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. Yet his true credentials were born in the Spirit. In 2018, he received two powerful visions that shaped the foundation of his ministries. One dream revealed a divine mandate to care for vulnerable children, leading to the creation of Village Hope International, a humanitarian organization providing education and healthcare to underserved communities. The second vision was a direct encounter with Jesus Christ, commissioning Bob to preach the Word globally and establish Word Power Ministries, an Apostolic ministry focused on prayer, evangelism, church planting, and outreach.
Through his ministry, Pastor Bob has touched lives across continents, bringing hope to the homeless, healing to the broken, and truth to the spiritually hungry.
Whether through preaching, prayer, Dream Interpretation, or humanitarian outreach, Pastor Bob Tiwa’s mission is clear: to glorify God, empower believers, and restore dignity to every soul he encounters. A Divine Encounter: The Calling of Pastor Bob Tiwa
Word Power Ministries was not formed by ambition, but by divine commission. Its foundation is rooted in a sacred encounter—a dream so vivid, so holy, that it marked the beginning of a lifelong mission to preach the Gospel, share God's Word, and serve nations with His love.
In the same year that Pastor Bob Tiwa received the spiritual calling to establish Word Power Ministries, he was visited in a dream by Jesus Christ, the Lord and Savior. This was no ordinary dream—it was a supernatural visitation that changed everything.
The Vision Unfolds
One night, while walking in a dream toward an unknown destination, Pastor Bob was stopped by a man clothed entirely in radiant white. The man asked, “Bob, are you ready to serve us?” Confused yet drawn by the presence, Bob asked, “Who are you?” The man replied, “I am the Lord and Savior. If you are ready to serve us, say yes, and I will take you to my Father for commissioning.”
Bob said yes.
He was then led to a magnificent office—its walls, floor, and surroundings shimmering in pure gold. At the center stood a vacant throne-like chair, from which came a voice and a visible arm, seen only from the elbow. The man in white introduced Bob to the Father: “This is Bob Tiwa. I have chosen him to serve us.”
The voice from the throne asked, “Are you ready to serve us?” Bob answered, “Yes.”
The Divine Commissioning
From the throne came three sacred gifts:

A Round item in form of a Ball wrapped with the map of the Globe: This was handed over to Bob Tiwa by a Hand of God, Followed by a very Loud voice stating that “In this is My Word, i have given it to you to serve Me globally.”

A Bowl full of very white Water: Another Loud Voice Sounded from the throne, saying that “In this water is My Spirit, i will be with you throughout your ministry. I have given you My Holy Spirit.”

A Rectangular Box: The same voice of God Stated, “That is life. Go, live and serve Me.”
Then the man in white turned to Bob and said, “From today, I have given you a new name of service - "Pastor.”
Bob awoke filled with the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. From that moment, his life and ministry were transformed. He began to serve God at a new level, and Word Power Ministries was born, not as an organization, but as a divine mandate.
Therefore, Word Power Ministries is not built on human wisdom, but on a heavenly calling. Pastor Bob Tiwa continues to walk in obedience to the vision given to him, carrying the Word, the Spirit, and the life entrusted to him by God.
“And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.” — Isaiah 30:21
Village Hope International: The Dream That Sparked a Movement
In the quiet hours of 2018, Pastor Bob Tiwa received a divine revelation that would forever alter the trajectory of his life and ministry. It came not through thunder or fire, but in the stillness of a dream—one so vivid, so sacred, that it could only be from God. In this dream, Bob stood in his multi-room home as streams of people arrived, each bringing a child in need. The children came in silence—some barefoot, some weary, all longing for love, safety, and a future. The visitors placed the children gently at his doorstep and walked away, leaving Bob surrounded by countless young souls. Then came a voice, unmistakable and mighty:
“All those are my children. I have given them all to you to help in order for them to grow.”
Bob awoke with a heart ablaze. The message was clear: God was calling him to be a father to the fatherless, a shepherd to the vulnerable, and a vessel of restoration for children across the world. That dream became the spiritual foundation of Village Hope International, formally established two years later. It was not just an organization—it was a divine assignment. Village Hope International was born to restore dignity, hope, and opportunity to every child in need, regardless of background or circumstance. Alongside this mission, Bob also founded Word Power Ministries, a spiritual arm dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel, empowering believers, and anchoring every act of service in the Word of God.
Village Hope International is more than a humanitarian effort. It is a living testimony of obedience to God’s voice. Every school built, every meal served, every prayer spoken over a child is a fulfillment of that sacred calling. Through education, healthcare, and spiritual nurture, the ministry continues to echo the heart of the Father: “Let the little children come to Me.”
