Statement of Faith
This Statement of Faith is the foundation of everything we do including our teaching, outreach, missions, and humanitarian work. It reflects our commitment to walk in truth, serve with integrity, and advance the Kingdom of God with boldness and compassion. May the Word of Christ dwell richly in you as you explore what we believe and join us in lifting His name across the world.
What We Believe and Proclaim
Word Power Ministries stands firmly on the unchanging truth of God’s Word and the saving power of Jesus Christ. We believe in the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit - working in perfect unity to redeem, restore, and empower His people. We uphold the Holy Bible as God‑breathed, authoritative, complete, and sufficient for teaching, correction, and righteous living. Our ministry is built on the finished work of Christ, His death, resurrection, and soon return, and we joyfully proclaim Him as Lord and Savior to all nations.
We believe in the active ministry of the Holy Spirit, who continues to perform healing, deliverance, prophecy, and supernatural transformation in the lives of believers today. Our calling is to preach the Gospel with power, interpret dreams by the Spirit, counsel the brokenhearted, and bring hope to the oppressed. We honor God’s design for marriage, uphold the dignity of every person created in His image, and embrace baptism, Holy Communion, and holy living as expressions of faith.
Our Faith
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior
We believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour. He is the living son of God who was crucified on the cross for our sins, buried in the grave and is a resurrected Lord. God the father offered Him to us as a living sacrifice who took away our sins for our salvation, John 3:16.
The Trinity of God
We believe in the trinity of God. God is one but He reveals himself to us according to His will and purpose as the father, the Son and the Holy spirit, Mathew 28:18-19.
The Holy Bible
We believe in both the old and the New testament of the Holy Bible as the true and powerful Holy Word of God. We are obligated not to add on it nor subtract from it any verse or chapter. Mathew 5:17-19, Deuteronomy 4:2.
Signs, Miracles and Wounders
We believe in miracles, signs and wonders as performed by the power of the Holy Spirit through prayer and counseling, John 14:12.
Baptism of Water and of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of water and of the Holy Spirit as may be conducted by God's servants and our Lord Jesus Christ respectively, Mathew 28:19, Mathew 3:11.
Marriage
We believe in Marriage of a man and a woman as planned by God for the purposes of procreation and dominion over all other creatures on Earth, Genesis 2:24.
The Holy Cominion
We believe in the Holy Cominion as a spiritual act of sharing the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ that was shade on the cross for our Salvation, Mathew 26:26-28.
Equality in Service
We believe in equality of all people in life and ministry with respect to those called to serve and elders of our communities. God created all people in His image, God's image is one not two, making all people as same as His one image. Therefore, both female and male human beings are entitled to serve God with equally and diginity. Genesis 1:26-27.
