DREAM DISCERNMENT

At Word Power Ministries, we believe that God still speaks today, and one of the ways He communicates is through dreams. Throughout Scripture, the Lord used dreams to warn, instruct, reveal destiny, and guide His people. From Joseph in Egypt to Daniel in Babylon, from Jacob’s ladder to the wise men warned in a dream, God has always used the night season to whisper His will. This section is designed to help believers grow in biblical discernment, Spirit‑led interpretation, and contextual understanding of dream symbolism. Every symbol must be interpreted in context, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and never in isolation.

OUR APPROACH TO DREAM INTERPRETATION

Scripture First

Every interpretation must align with the Word of God. Dreams never contradict Scripture

Context Matters

The same symbol can mean different things depending on the dream’s setting, emotions, and actions.

The Holy Spirit Leads

Dreams are spiritual communications. Only the Spirit of God gives true understanding.

Symbols Are Parabolic

Jesus often spoke in parables. Dreams follow the same pattern; symbolic, layered, and revelatory. Just as He used symbolic stories to reveal hidden truths (Matthew 13:34–35), God frequently speaks in dreams using imagery that is layered, meaningful, and spiritually rich. At Word Power Ministries, we interpret dreams by recognizing their parabolic nature, seeking the deeper message behind the symbols, and relying on Scripture and the Holy Spirit to uncover the revelation God is communicating.
