Trusting God Beyond Human Understanding
In the days of Noah, the voice of God spoke, instructing him to build an ark — an immense vessel in the middle of dry land. To human reasoning, this seemed absurd. Why construct a massive boat when there was no visible sign of a flood? The world mocked Noah, calling him foolish, wasting his time, resources, and energy on something that defied logic.
But Noah wasn’t listening to the opinions of men — he was listening to God.
"By faith Noah, being warned by God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house."
— Hebrews 11:7
Despite ridicule and doubt, Noah persevered. He hammered and sawed, laying plank upon plank, not because he had proof, but because he had faith. And when the rain fell, when the floodwaters rose, Noah and his household were safe inside the ark — just as God had promised.
"And Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him”
— Genesis 7:5
Salvation Through Faith in Jesus Christ
Salvation operates the same way today. To the natural mind, surrendering to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior may seem irrational. Some may question: How can believing in Jesus save me? Others may ridicule faith, dismissing it as unnecessary.
Yet, just as those who entered Noah’s ark were saved from destruction, so are those who enter the ark of salvation — Jesus Christ — rescued from eternal separation from God and given everlasting life.
"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
— John 3:16
The call to salvation is as urgent today as it was in Noah’s time. The world may scoff and doubt, but God’s word stands firm. Faith defies human reasoning, yet it never fails. Those who trust in Him are saved.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."
— Ephesians 2:8
Answering the Call: Step into Salvation
Today, the door to the ark of salvation is open, and its entrance is Jesus Christ. He invites every soul to come, believe, and be saved. The world may question, logic may resist, but faith triumphs.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
— Romans 10:9
