The Undeniable Goodness of God and the Deception of the Enemy

Beloved brothers and sisters all over the world, today we reflect on a truth that stands firm through time—the goodness of God and the deception of the enemy.

Living Testimonies of His Grace

Each day we wake up, we experience God's mercy anew. If you have breath in your lungs, food on your table, and a roof over your head, give glory to God! If you have seen a moment of joy, a peaceful day, or an act of kindness, this is the work of our Lord.

The book of James 1:17 reminds us:

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change."

Indeed, God’s goodness never wavers. He is the giver of every blessing—whether large or small—and His love is steadfast.

The Presence of the Adversary

Yet, we must also be vigilant, for there is an enemy that seeks to distort and destroy. The Lord Jesus Christ warns us in John 10:10:

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

There are two forces in this world— God, the giver of life, and Satan, the deceiver. While both are unseen, their presence is made known through actions, through hearts, and through choices. Satan aims to plant doubt, steal joy, and create division, while God is ever-present, offering peace, hope, and salvation.

Choosing to Stand in Truth

Where will you stand today? Will you choose to trust in God’s provision, grace, and mercy, or will you allow doubt to creep in? Jesus reminds us in John 4:24, "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

As followers of Christ, let us commit to:

✅ Worshiping in spirit and truth.

✅ Acknowledging God’s goodness in our lives.

✅ Standing strong against deception.

✅ Keeping our homes filled with peace.

✅ Filling our hearts with gratitude.

May we lift our voices in praise to the One who sustains us. Through the storm and through the joy, God is good, and His goodness never fails!
